Description

The Digital Collections Center at Florida International University Libraries assists other departments of its libraries, as well as faculty and students of various schools and campus groups, in submitting and displaying papers and multimedia items on Digital Commons. Digital Commons serves as FIU’s central access point for scholarship and creative works- a repository where users can display their content in dynamic ways to interest researchers around the world or to serve as points of reference for future FIU students working on similar projects. Among the projects displayed are the Sea Level Rise Collection, which features a timeline tool exhibiting the multimedia content and papers produced by student and faculty researchers over time, and the Cuban Research Institute Events Collection, which hosts promotional flyers and videos of past lectures and events held by FIU’s Cuban Research Institute.
