Abstract
Based on the data of a national survey (Russia), there’s represented a syntactic and semantic procedure to reconstruct a repertoire of the questions, which are matched to the fixed respondents’ answers (which presumably were actually answered), and to diagnose communicative adequacy of the question as it was designed for the survey. Qualitative perspective on quantitative survey communication, it is shown, is extremely useful to grasp crucial differences between the speeches by respondents and pollsters.
