Scientific Communication News publishes news and views synopses of primary research articles that cover the broad world of marine science and oceanography. The goal of Sci Comm News is to reach a broad audience by encouraging students to explore the world of scientific writing and publication from a narrative perspective. We publish articles that were written during the graduate level Scientific Communication class at Nova Southeastern University. Students select a primary research article from an established journal and summarize it into a news and views format using communication concepts discussed in the class. Any student who participates in the class is welcome to submit a manuscript for publication. All manuscripts go through a classroom peer-review process and are subject to final approval by the editors.
