Description
Snakes are probably my favorite subject, and have proved to be one of the most challenging to photograph. This photo of a Florida Cottonmouth was taken while on a night hike in Big Cypress. I am very proud of this photo because of the amount of detail it captures. If you zoom in on the eye you can see tiny mites that have hitched a ride on this snake.
