Abstract

NSU Shepard Broad College of Law hosted the 3rd Annual Legal Master's Degree Conference on March 28 - 30, 2019.
Once again, this event brought together law school deans, administrators, program managers, and faculty to explore the present and future of graduate-level legal education for non-lawyers. Breakout scheduling provided separate tracks for experienced program managers and for those new to Legal Master's education. Presentation topics included engaging faculty and students, focused learning outcomes and assessment for non-JD courses, curriculum planning, branding and digital marketing, student services for master’s students, and the future of legal education. Round table discussions centered on in-house program administration, new program issues, branding, vendor programs and graduate career prospects.
