Abstract
Events that Inspire Life Decisions: It is not unusual for a person to choose an occupation or a specialization within that occupation based upon previous experiences. Within my acquaintances are a doctor of cardiac care whose father died of a sudden and unexplained heart attack, a psychologist whose mother had severe emotional problems, and a professor who remembers one of his teachers as the person who inspired him to complete school.
