NSU Experience
The biology program at NSU provided me with the fundamental skills I need to understand the anatomical and biological functions of the human body as I strive to pursue a career in medicine.
Additionally, the biology program has opened my eyes to how simple things in life such as plants, fungi, bacteria and viruses work; something people may take for granted as being simple sometimes annoying creatures are indeed not simple but complex.
What I enjoy most about my time at NSU was being able to gain new knowledge and learning about how organisms work and reproduce, as well as the connections I made with professors and peers.
Although, sometimes it became difficult a few words of encouragement for current students would be to never give up and pursue your dreams, there will be bumps along the journey however, it's worth it in the end.
