My time at NSU has been a remarkable journey. While initially challenging, the support of wonderful staff members, professors, and classmates transformed the road into a much smoother path. As a Biology major, NSU has shaped me unexpectedly, pushing me to reach my greatest potential.
As I look ahead to pursuing my Master’s in Medical Science and applying to D.O School, I would advise others not to compare themselves to anyone else. Instead, strive to be the best version of yourself and be open to stepping out of your comfort zone to discover that version. Embrace the challenges, as they will cultivate your strength and determination. No matter what obstacles come your way, never give up. Your words have power, so speak only positively over yourself, and let faith guide the rest. With faith, you will find the strength to persevere. Remember, it's not about how you start the race, but how you finish. As long as you finish, you have succeeded.
