Sarah Brandt is a Graduate Assistant within the Office of International Affairs. Her roles are working primarily with study abroad services, “Sharks Abroad”, and the Razor’s Edge Global Scholarship Program. She is completing her graduate degree in College Student Affairs here at NSU. Prior to NSU, Brandt's career within the field of education and service has brought her all over the country and world. She has taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts in Tampa, Florida, volunteered with a cultural center for blind adults in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, served as an Americorps VISTA member to capacity build for a non-profit and provide STEM opportunities to students in low-income areas in Baltimore, Maryland, and taught English abroad for two years in Beijing, China and Hong Kong. She is proudly from New Jersey and received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from The University of Tampa.
Suzette Henry-Campbell is passionate about leadership and talent development as enablers of high performance organizations. This is illustrated in her choice of academic and professional pursuits. Her career spans both the public and private sector, which contributed to shaping her interest in diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion as critical factors to sustainable development initiatives. With an evolving interest in the benefits to be had from a multicultural labor market, she is now at the final stages of completing her doctoral degree with the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Jeannie Jaworski serves as the Director of International Affairs at Nova Southeastern University. In this role she oversees the Office of International Students and Scholars, the Office of Education Abroad, and coordinates the Razor’s Edge Global Scholars program. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member, teaching in the First Year Experience program and a Diversity and Multiculturalism Seminar in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education. She has a Master of Education from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA). Her work has spanned the field of international education, including oversight of instiutitonal international recruitment and admissions, leadership for an Intensive English Language program, and research on intercultural communication skill development in required study away experiences. Jaworski is passionate about access, inclusion, diversity and justice issues - both on campus and in her local, national, and global communities. Her personal and professional travels have taken her to 25 countries, including undergraduate study abroad experiences in Mexico and India. She is a scuba diver and an animal lover who lives by the motto, “do good and good will come.”
