The biology internship to Graz, Austria is 6 weeks long and is an excellent opportunity to travel as well as observe surgeries and lear n hands-on techniques like suturing. The weekdays are spent in the Medical University of Graz h ospital with the transplan t surgery team. There you would be able to assist in transpl ant surgeries and also any type of surgery being performed, like plastic or laparoscopic surgery . The doctors and surgeons are very helpful and will teach you different surgical techniques . While most of the time was spent observing and assisting in surgeries, there was plenty of time to explore Graz, a small, but beautiful town.
