Abstract

There has been a call for practical research reflexivity tools in social sciences (Mauthner & Doucet, 2003; Star, 2007). Through lecture and visual presentation of examples of the use of the Reflective Coding Matrix used in grounded theory study, participants will be able to (a) define the components of the RCM; (b) identify the application of the RCM in grounded theory methodology; and (c) describe potential use of RCM in qualitative thematic content analysis.
