Abstract

Conducting a qualitative research project can be a transformative process. The researcher can change the data collection process by adding additional probing questions, and the researcher himself can change in reaction to the data collection process. Using my dissertation, pictures taken to capture my experience in the moment, and my researcher’s journal, this session will reflect on my reaction to the research process and the lessons I learned about conducting a qualitative research project.
