Eileen Smith-Cavros, Ph.D., an associate professor at NSU's Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, teaches sociology and anthropology. Her current research projects are on alternative energy, living off-the-power-grid, and the social life in the western United States and on health challenges faced by the elderly in West Africa.
