Gender equity in management education: A content analysis of test bank questions

Abstract/Excerpt

This article evaluates the content of test banks that accompany management education texts for gender equity. Findings from a content analysis of 17 books indicate that test questions refer to males in the examples nearly two thirds of the time. In addition, female managers were referred to significantly more often by their first names only than were male managers. Suggestions for management instructors are provided.
