Climate Change: From Global to Local, Weaving Science, Law, and Policy
Nova Southeastern University Faculty Symposium. Davie, FL
The first decade in the 21st century was the hottest on record for this nation and for the world. This symposium will address the evidence of climate change, wide-ranging impacts on environmental and societal sectors, and future trends that depend largely on human actions. Discussion will include ongoing research in the lab and field and science-based policies to mitigate global change and Florida law, as well as policy and action to address global warming and sea level rise.
